Network data
Samoa networks an eSIM actually uses
HelloRoam is the highest 2026 composite scorer at 4.64/5 on this scorecard for Samoa. Mobile data in Samoa runs on 5G across the carriers tracked here. 5G is available where the local carrier has deployed it, with 4G LTE as the fallback everywhere else. All 5 providers route through Bluesky. They share the same physical infrastructure, so the network is not what separates them here.
Coverage analysis
Samoa coverage gap analysis
HelloRoam is the highest 2026 composite scorer at 4.64/5 on this scorecard for Samoa. Airalo leads coverage breadth at 200+ countries. Coverage quality still depends on operator count and carrier assignment. Samoa is a single-operator market. Bluesky is the only carrier. All 5 providers connect through the same infrastructure, meaning coverage scores are identical. No provider has a coverage advantage. Pricing, support, and app quality are the differentiators. Network type: 5G. Speed is consistent where coverage exists. Dead zones are a coverage problem, not a speed problem.

Neighbor entry-level prices: Australia: $3.49 (1GB); Fiji: $6.49 (1GB); French Polynesia: $28.68 (1GB); Guam: $7.99 (1GB). Buying individual plans for all 5 countries totals $74.95 minimum. HelloRoam, Airalo and Holafly sell multi-country bundles that put several destinations on one eSIM; Saily and Nomad sell single-country plans only.
